CCIL provided complimentary food and entertainment to less fortunate individuals and families in the North Lawndale community for Thanksgiving this year. CCIL Foodservice Director Bob Joens said, “CCIL relocated to North Lawndale a little more than a year ago and I think I can speak for everyone in our organization when I say we’re all happy to serve the citizens of this community. It’s always heartwarming to see so many different walks of life congregate together and give thanks.”
This year:
- 500 people were served
- We had 60 volunteers
- 125 people were given clothing
- Raised $100 in donations
